Reflective Portal

The design of “Reflective Portal” draws inspiration from the ancient architectural marvels of Persian culture, particularly the Tachar (Mirror Hall) of Persepolis. In this historical structure, stones were meticulously polished to a mirror-like finish, amplifying light and enhancing the grandeur of the space. Similarly, “Reflective Portal” uses polished stainless steel to capture and reflect the surrounding environment, creating an endless loop of reflections that symbolizes the infinite potential of the human spirit and the beauty of nature.
The installation also takes conceptual cues from Rumi’s poetry, which often explores the themes of mirrors as symbols of the purified soul and the reflection of inner beauty. By positioning two reflective surfaces opposite each other, “Reflective Portal” creates a visual experience where reflections repeat endlessly, embodying the idea of boundless possibilities and the continuous journey towards enlightenment and self-discovery.
